The Foundation Class
The Foundation Class is the basic course designed to help you build the tools that will enable you to explore the many facets of acting.
With specific exercises designed to move you through your emotional, mental and physical blocks to being real, this class will enhance your acting expertise while building a solid footing in script analysis and the rehearsal process. You will learn an approach to acting that lets you be in the moment working truthfully from yourself.
This Foundation Class is the building block of all our acting classes.
Time frame: eight weeks.

Advanced acting is designed for actors who have some experience or have completed the Foundation course.
This class will challenge you and expand upon your abilities and understanding of the craft. Various acting techniques such as "sense memory" and "effective memory" are Toughly explored. You will be encouraged to work organically and truthfully, learning to make strong choices to achieve a believable performance.
Through the use of various scenes you will acquire skills to deepen, refresh, or polish your craft. Scenes will be taped allowing you to learn the technical aspect of acting for the camera.
Enrolment in this class will be no more than 12 students to allow for personal and meaningful instruction in a safe and supportive environment.
Time frame: fiveweek cycle.

On - going scene study is for actors who want to hone their craft. This script-based class will lead to discovering more specific choices through the analytical aspects of the rehearsal process.
The class will work as a group to achieve each actor’s individual goals. Actors are expected to rehearse at least twice a week on their own time. In class the actors will participate in exercises and prep work to achieve being in the moment while working on the demands of performing in front of a camera.
Tapes will be reviewed in class each week. This class is a safe and fun environment to challenge your creative limits as an actor.
Each student will have their own tape.
Time frame: five week cycle.

Auditioning for the Camera is designed to prepare actors for film, television and commercial auditions.
This on-camera class will strengthen your skills and give you the all- important winning edge in the audition room through self-awareness and increased confidence. Work on prepared auditions, cold reads and commercial auditions. Learn to prepare and deal with nerves to allow you to bring your own unique qualities to the room. Acquire the ability to break down an audition piece and to create a real performance in an unreal environment.
All auditions are recorded and reviewed in class. Each student will have their own tape so they can review on their own.
Time frame: five week cycle.

The Improvisation workshop is designed to introduce actors and non actors to the many aspects of Improvisation.
The workshops cover the Improvisation basics such as environment, relationships, listening, giving & receiving and most important being in the moment. Through specifically designed exercises and games you will unlock your creativity and learn to develop real and believable performances. Most importantly you will have fun in a creative safe environment. This is a surprisingly easy way to become self-confident, creative, and spontaneous.
Comfortable clothing is recommended.
One or Two day sessions
Fees: $60.00 for 4 hrs.

The Improvisation Class is designed for students who have taken the Improvisation work shop or comparable Improvisation training.
The class will build on the Improvisation basics such as environment, relationships, listening, giving & receiving and most important being in the moment. Expand on character work through various exercises designed to develop honest and believable performances. Learn to create scenes based on audience suggestions. New games and story situations will explored each week.
Learn to trust yourself to be instinctive and in the moment, while gaining confidence in your choices. Build on trust, cooperation, risk taking and teamwork.
Most importantly have fun in a creative and safe environment.
Comfortable clothing is recommended.

This workshop is designed for everyone no matter what you do for a living or what your interests are.
The exercises that are employed in this workshop can be used to enrich all areas of your life. Address your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects, then balance all of these in order to be more effective and creative. Find your unique qualities in a supportive and challenging setting. Learn to trust and allow yourself to be instinctive and in the moment. The light hearted atmosphere allows you to learn while laughing and having fun.
Much more is accomplished when you are relaxed and less stressed.
Time Frame: One or more days.
Fee for one day: $75.00 for two days $125.00
If you are looking for help with that tough monologue or need last minute audition preparation; get help with private coaching sessions.
The focus of these sessions will be on the actors needs. Whether it is acting, auditions, call back preparations, cold reads, monologues, or rehearsal techniques, these private coaching sessions are sensitive to the actor.
All sessions are recorded and reviewed in session.
